Working in sales and marketing for Maclan Corporation, Meagan Wallace enjoys her job dealing with roller coaster wheels. Her coworkers appreciate her fun, bubbly personality, noting she is easy to work with and tries to make things simple for other people. Her work with promotional materials, company website and social media make her an integral part of the team.
Cedar Point debuts Siren's Curse; Maclan provides coaster's wheels
On June 28, 2025, Siren’s Curse officially opened at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio. It is the park’s 18th roller coaster and the very first tilt coaster in the Western Hemisphere. Maegan Wallace of Maclan Corporation, which supplied the wheels for the train, commented, “Siren’s Curse was amazing! Between 'dangle'-time and airtime with a smooth rush, it’s my favorite ride!”
Maclan celebrates 50 years of keeping wheels turning forward
Since 1975, the Maclan Corporation has made sure the wheels on theme and amusement park rides go round and round. Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, the family-owned-and-operated company has remained true to its core values of quality work, serving customers and treating employees like family. How Maclan became Disney's go-to ride wheel supplier
Maclan Corp. has supplied Disney with ride wheels since 1977. The company developed PPDI material, revolutionizing roller coaster wheels worldwide. Maclan now serves amusement parks globally, with 50 employees.
"Name a ride and we’ve likely supplied wheels for it." Owner and President Phil Lane recently shared with Orlando Business Journal the story of Lakeland-based Maclan Corp. and its long-standing relationship with Walt Disney World.
Maclan continues partnership with RMC for ArieForce One

Maclan's Maegan Wallace joins AIMS International board
Maclan has participated in the AIMS International Safety Seminars over the years as volunteers and a vendor supporting the organization and its goals. In 2023, the company's Maegan Wallace was elected to the organizations board of directors.
Vekoma, Maclan partner to facilitate orders
Maclan Corporation's relationship with Netherlands-based Vekoma Rides Manufacturing continues to grow in its fruitfulness for both businesses. The latest show of that relationship was the opening of the Vekoma warehouse on Maclan's property in Lakeland, Florida.
